New on Melodic records this month we would highly recommend the cosmic disco odyssey long player by veteran French composer and synthesist, Georges Vert. Compiled and produced with the help of this parish's very own Jon Brooks and first re-issued digitally on his own Café Kaput label last year, this time round it gets a vinyl release (with free download codes included). There are a few of these very limited edition LPs here in the Ghost Box shop.
For other people named Jon Brooks, see Jon Brooks (disambiguation).

The Advisory Circle is an alias of electronic musician Jon Brooks (along with King of Woolworths). His releases as The Advisory Circle are on the Ghost Box Music label.
An extensive feature in The Wire magazine explored Brooks' fascination with public information films from the 1970s. He describes his sound as "Everything's fine, but there is something not quite right about it."[1]
